Prawns with mushrooms

Prawns with mushrooms are a tasty and quick main dish to bring to the table in no time. To further speed up the preparation of this dish we can also use frozen prawns. In addition, the prawns must be cooked for a very short time to keep them tender and juicy inside.

500 g prawns
250 g mushrooms
1 clove garlic
1 lemon (zest)
1/2 glass white wine
4 tablespoons olive oil

Remove the head and intestines from the shrimp and rinse them under running water. Let them drain and in the meantime clean the mushrooms well from any soil. Cut them into wedges and set aside. In a pan add the oil, the garlic clove divided into 3 pieces and the parsley stalks. Fry and add the mushrooms. Cook over high heat for 7-8 minutes. Deglaze with the white wine. When the alcohol has evaporated, lower the heat and season with salt and pepper. Add the prawns and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve with chopped parsley.

Shrimp should be cooked for a short time to keep them soft and juicy.

Frozen shrimp can also be used.

Any type of mushroom is good for this dish.
