Teriyaki chicken

This simple teriyaki chicken recipe is a very aromatic dish with fresh garlic and ginger accompanied by rice and broccoli for a healthy and complete meal. It’s ready in about 30 minutes and is the perfect weeknight dinner.

1 chicken breast
4 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 teaspoon ginger
1 spring onion
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
4 teaspoons sesame seeds
1 teaspoon cornstarch
3 tablespoons water (cold)


1 Pan
1 Knife


Cut the chicken breast into cubes.
In a pan, add the oil and grated ginger and heat.
Add the chicken breast and brown for about 10 minutes.
In the meantime, cut the spring onion and dissolve the corn starch in cold water.
Deglaze with teriyaki sauce.
Add the corn starch.
Leave to thicken for 5 minutes.
Add the spring onion and sesame seeds.
Serve with rice and vegetables.
