Italian bundt cake

Italian bundt cake is called “ciambellone” is a simple and tasty dessert, ideal for breakfast, but also for a snack filled with cocoa cream or jam. Italian bundt cake is prepared only with eggs, milk and olive oil, it is soft and moist inside, really delicious. It can flavor with any aroma, orange, cinnamon, lemon, various spices and if you like you can add some dark chocolate chips.

6 eggs
1 cup sugar
5 cups flour
2 cups milk
2 cups olive oil
2 teaspoons baking powder
vanilla bean

Grease and sprinkle a mold with flour. Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, sugar and vanilla pulp. When the mixture is clear and fluffy, add the oil slowly, continuing to whip at high speed. Add the flour and the sifted yeast, mixing from bottom to top with a spatula, alternating with the milk. Pour the mixture into the previously greased mold of 9.44″ (24 cm) and bake for about 45 minutes at 350°F(180 ° C). Remove from the oven and allow to cool before removing from the mold. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Recipe variations

You can replace olive oil with a seed oil to make it lighter.
