CAKE WITH WALNUTS AND JAM

Cake with walnuts and jam, a very easy to make soft cake with a creamy heart that is nothing short of fantastic. To make this cake even more mouthwatering, are the walnuts that give it a crunchy note that makes it truly special. If you don’t like walnuts, you can replace them with either almonds or hazelnuts but I recommend you try it because I’m sure it will win you over from the first bite. 1 sachet baking powder

PROCEDURE

In a bowl, whisk the eggs very well with the sugar, they should be nice and frothy, then add the flavoring of your choice, I used grated lemon peel, and finally, add the flour with sifted baking powder. Pour half of the mixture into buttered and floured baking dish , put a few jam flakes and nuts on top , adjust according to your taste but do not overdo the jam. Now cover it with the rest of the dough, put a few more jam tufts and more nuts. Bake, at 180 degrees, for about 30 minutes but adjust according to your oven. Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.
