CRUMBLED PUMPKIN PIE

a delicious pie , great to enjoy in the Fall because in this period there are so many pumpkins and all very sweet. Pumpkin pie, is the sweet protagonist that is prepared for Thanksgiving in America. Its mix of flavors immediately makes you feel the festive atmosphere but above all the Autumn air. In Italy, this holiday is known thanks to the American movies where you see these beautiful tables full of many good things. I love pumpkin desserts so I decided to prepare a variation of the much loved pumpkin pie, a mix between America and Italy, and I came up with a crumbled pumpkin pie that is nothing short of fantastic! INGREDIENTS FOR THE DOUGH

  • 400 gflour
  • 120 gsugar
  • 2egg
  • 120 gbutter
  • 1 sachetbaking powder

  • 300 gpumpkin codet
  • 2egg
  • 100 mlcream
  • 80 gsugar
  • ginger
  • nutmeg
  • cinnamon
  • chopped walnuts

    HOW TO MAKE CRUMBLED PUMPKIN PIE

    First, prepare the filling. Cook the pumpkin and then blend it, put it in a bowl with the sugar, eggs, cream and spices, mix well.
    Now let’s prepare the dough.
    Mix the flour with the yeast, sugar, butter and eggs to make a grainy dough.
    Butter a tart pan (I used baking paper) and spread with your hands a part of the dough, raising the edges well, pour the cream and then crumble the remaining dough on top. Finally add the chopped walnuts.
    Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes. Always adjust with your oven.
