LEMON AND APPLE GLAZED CAKE

A fantastic cake to say the least, super soft and with an intense lemon flavor. If you like lemon desserts then you absolutely must try this cake. I added apples and a special frosting that makes it even better. I recommend you try it and I’m sure it will win you over from the first bite.

INGREDIENTS:

120 g sugar

1 large egg

40 g of oil (sunflower)

170 g of sour cream or Greek yogurt

13 g of lemon juice

170 g of 00 flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon of baking soda

the grated peel of a lemon

1 apple

PROCEDURE:

Pour the sour cream into a bowl with the sugar and mix with electric whips. Add the egg, lemon juice, grated peel, oil and finally the flour with baking powder and baking soda. Dice the apple and add it to the mixture.

Now pour the mixture into the 24 cm mold. Bake at 180° for about 15/20 minutes but not more and adjust with the oven. Prepare the icing.

In a bowl mix the powdered sugar and add a little at a time the lemon juice, mix well you have to get a consistency ne too thick and ne too liquid

Once the cake is baked, cover it with the icing and let it cool.
