Sausage and Stracchino Crostini (croutons), delicious and easy to make, are perfect to serve as an appetizer for a dinner with family or friends or as a finger food for a buffet.
The recipe is very easy: I browned the sausage in a pan together with the onion and, once cold, I added it to the stracchino cheese. Then, I stuffed some slices of bread and put it in the oven to brown. Yummy!!
If you want, you can also add the crumbled raw sausage together with the stracchino without cooking it before. This way the croutons need to stay in the oven a little longer to cook, but the result will be excellent the same.
It’s also a great way to recycle stale bread.
Now let’s see how to make Sausage and Stracchino Crostini recipe! So let’s get started.
