Preheat the oven to 475°F. Line a baking sheet.
In a dish mix bread crumbs, onion powder, salt, rosemary and basil.
Lightly beat the egg with a fork in another soup plate. Dip thighs in egg, then press into bread mixture until evenly coated on both sides.
Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush olive oil over the meat.

Cook chicken until golden brown ( about 20 minutes per side ) and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a thigh registers 165°F. ( 75 ° C )
Turn off the oven and serve hot!
Great served with sweet potato fries or mashed potatoes!
These crispy, golden baked chicken thighs are not fried so perfect for kids.
