Easy italian apple fritters, with my grandmother’s recipe!
Apple fritters are a cheap and genuine dessert that can be an ideal snack to prepare in a few minutes.
I learned this recipe from my grandmother and it was a dish I loved as a child, so I always asked her to prepare it.
She was fantastic: in a moment she made the batter, cleaned the apples and in 20 minutes, our pancakes were already in the dish, fragrant and ready to be eaten…

Steps
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices about 5mm thick.
Collect the slices in a bowl, sprinkle with lemon zest, pour a little juice and distribute well over.
It’s time to find out how to make batter for apple fritters.
Collect the flour in a bowl, add the sugar and a little milk, stir to avoid lumps.
Add cinnamon and egg, mix and pour the rest of the milk little by little until you get a thick batter.
If you do not have vanilla icing sugar, which you will need later, add vanilla essence to the dough.
Sprinkle and flour the apple slices with a spoonful of flour and begin to heat the oil.
When dipping a toothpick in oil this will start to fry, you can start cooking pancakes.
Pass the apple slices in the batter, let the excess pour and dip in the oil, proceed a few times.
Let them brown on one side and on the other, collect them with a skimming ladle and place them on kitchen paper that can absorb the excess grease.
Then move them on a plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon and serve, they are excellent just made, but they are good even after a few hours of rest.

The apple pancakes, good hot, are tasty even at room temperature. I advise you to prepare only those you will consume on the same day.
