▪ Place 1 ounce of sugar with 1.6 ounces of water in a small saucepan and place on the stove over low
heat.
▪ Finely chop 3 sage leaves and add them to the liquid.
▪ When the sugar is completely dissolved, bring it to a boil, turn off the stove and move the liquid into
the jug.
▪ Cool the sage sugar syrup.
It will take about 15 minutes.
