A few days ago we were just two at lunch, I had some chicken to prepare, but I didn’t want to turn on the oven, also because it was really very hot.
So I marinated my chicken in a fragrant mix of mustard and honey, I turned my air fryer and I cooked it. I also prepared a side of peppers and potatoes that accompanied it very well!

  • 1.7 poundschicken (thights)
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 1 tablespoonhoney
  • q.s.black pepper
  • q.s.sweet paprika
  • 1 tablespoonsweet mustard
  • 2 tablespoonsbalsamic vinegar
  • q.s.salt
  • 1/2onion (small)
  • q.s.aromatic herbs
  • 1red pepper (big)
  • 2potatoes

Airfried chicken with mustard and honey: preparation…

  1. In a large bowl, collect all the ingredients of the marinade: mustard, honey, vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, paprika and onion. Mix and add the chicken with the skin.

    Massage the meat for a few minutes, then marinate in the fridge for at least one hour.

    Place the chicken in the air fryer without basket, with the skin facing upwards, and pour over the remaining marinade and cook at 390 F for the first ten minutes.

    As soon as the skin has turned brown, turn the chicken over and cook for the next 50-60 minutes at 300 F, spraying from time to time with its sauce.

  3. For the plate of potatoes and peppers, peel the potatoes rinse and cut into pieces. Wash the peppers and remove seeds and filaments, cut these too, collect everything in the air fryer without basket, salted, give a turn of oil, stir and cook for about 20 minutes, turning from time to time.. They’re ready to be enjoyed.
