Pizza is a gastronomic product originating from Neapolitan cuisine, it is today, together with pasta, the most known Italian food in the world. Pizza consists in a dough made of flour, water and yeast which is flattened and typically seasoned with tomato, mozzarella and other ingredients and then baked in an oven.

For pizza
Dissolve yeast, salt and sugar in warm water.
On a work surface put the flour, forming a hole in the center add the water.
Using your hands, mix the dough until it comes together and is smooth.
Knead for 2 minutes
Make a ball with the dough and place in a bowl lightly greased with oil and cover with plastic wrap.
Set aside in a warm place to rise for an hour until it doubles in volume.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for another 5 minutes or until smooth.
Cover with a clean damp tea towel and let stand for 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 475°F ( 250°C ).
Once the dough has rested, pound it with your fists to release the air and roll out the pizza base on floured parchment paper to the size of the baking sheet.
In a bowl pour the tomato sauce, olive oil the salt and mix.
Pour the tomato sauce over the pizza dough.
Add the shredded mozzarella, mushrooms, and prosciutto cut into strips.
Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Slice the warm pizza into wedges and serve immediately.
