Apple pork ribs with slow cooker

Apple pork ribs with slow cooker…
I love the slow cooker, with its ability to cook food in a constant and uniform way, so reminiscent of the cooking methods of the past, those of the grandmas who cooked everything on their stoves or in the fireplace.
And so every now and then I take out my slow cooker and I dedicate myself without stress to prepare original and tasty dishes, sometimes even different from the usual, like these spicy pork ribs with apples and honey: tender, succulent and sweet.
Do you want to try them too? Here’s the recipe, I’m sure you will like it!
And if you don’t have slow cocooker? You can always use the oven or the classic casserole!!

Apple pork ribs with slow cooker: preparations…

  1. Collect the ribs in a large bowl, add the honey, wine, all the remaining spices and mix.

Peel the apples, cut them into pieces and add to the ribs.

  2. Let everything marinate for a few hours, then collect in a large pan together with the marinade, onion and carrots sliced and boil.

As soon as the meat fades, move all the contents of the pan into the slow cooker and cook at 190 F for 4 hours.

  3. When the meat will be cooked and tender, move it again all over the stove and let shrink the gravy over a high flame, until you get a thick sauce.

The pork chops are ready, let rest a few minutes and bring to the table.

  4. If you don’t have a slow cooker, cook for 3 hours in a classic oven at 250 F static mode, and increase the temperature only at the end of to shrink the gravy.

For cooking in a saucepan, cook on a minimum flame, in the smallest stove for at least 3 hours, leaving the sauce cooking over high heat.
