Orange Tart


250 g flour
1 egg
1 yolk
90 g sugar
70 g seed oil
4 g baking powder for sweets
1 teaspoon water
300 ml orange jam


Let’s prepare the shortcrust pastry with oil

1-Insert the flour and yeast in the bowl, make a small hole in the flour.

2– Pour the whole egg and the yolk in the center, add the sugar, the seed oil and the tablespoon of water. Knead with your hands, incorporating all the ingredients.

3-Put the dough onto a lightly floured work surface and knead energetically until it forms a compact and smooth ball.

Let’s assemble the tart

1-Once the shortcrust pastry is ready, roll it out on a lightly floured sheet of baking paper with a rolling pin to form a disk.

2-Take the disc with all its paper and place it inside a mold from 22 centimeters mold, remove the leftover dough from the edges and put it to one side, you will need for decoration.

3-Coat the base of the tart with the orange marmalade. With the remaining dough, roll it out and make flowers with the help of a flower-shaped cookie cutter. Arrange the flowers of shortbread on the jam in a scattered way.

4– Sprinkle the tart with caster sugar and bake in a preheated oven and cook the tart at 180 ° C for 25 minutes..Enjoy!
