250 g flour
130 g unsalted butter
90 g brown sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon honey
21/2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
4 g baking powder for sweets

Let’s roll up our sleeves and prepare these delicious cinnamon biscuits

1-Insert the flour into a bowl along with the baking powder, cinnamon, butter cut into cubes and brown sugar, work the ingredients with your hands, you must obtain a sandy mixture.

2-Verse then the slightly beaten egg, honey and start to knead, then bring all the dough on the pastry board and form a nice loaf.

3-Wrap the shortcrust pastry in plastic wrap and let it rest 20 minutes in the refrigerator.

4-Divide the shortcrust pastry in half, roll out one part with the help of a rolling pin, do not roll it out too thin, at least 1 cm thick.

5– Cut out the cookies on the rolled out shortcrust pastry with the stencils, I used a large and a small star shape and small trees. Transfer the medium stars on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. With a little bit of egg white brush a corner of the star and place on top of the smaller star making it stick well (see picture)

6-Bake for about 8-10 minutes, cooking time may vary from oven to oven. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack, if stored well in airtight containers they will last up to 1 week.
