Preparation of Broccoli salad with bacon
Cut the broccoli into small florets and rinse them in cold water.
Boil broccoli in salted water for 5-7 minutes, then drain and let them cool down.
Cook the bacon in a pan, until it becomes crisp. Put the bacon on blotting paper to absorb fat, then crumble into small pieces.
Dice the red onion and shell the walnuts.
Put broccoli, bacon, walnuts, onion and olives in a bowl and mix.
Add a pinch of salt, smoked paprika and a drizzle of olive oil and stir all the ingredients.
Your easy broccoli salad with bacon is ready, serve it immediately or let sit for a few hours in the fridge, closed in a container.
You can use raw broccoli, without boiling them.
You can add to the dressing a splash of lemon juice.
Instead of smoked paprika, try barbecue spices or another mix of spices.
You can add sunflower seeds, cranberries or raisins.
