Negroni cocktail

Negroni cocktail is a great classic of the Italian cocktail tradition and also worldwide.

It was born in Florence in 1920 thanks to Count Camillo Negroni who asked the barman of the café he used to frequent, to replace the seltzer of his classic Americano with a bit of gin, in honor of his trips to London.

With the passing of time the cocktail took the name of the count and became famous all over the world.

I’ve loved this cocktail since the first time I tasted it, I love gin and strong flavors so it’s one of the cocktails that fits right into my “Favorites List”.
