Smoked Salmon Tartines with Cream Cheese, a tasty, simple and quick finger food appetizer, ideal for a happy hour or a snack, or for a Sunday brunch or for special occasions like Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Easter, Valentine’s day …
It takes very little time to make! I toasted bread slices for 10 minutes in the oven, cut them with a cookie cutter and stuffed with smoked salmon and spreadable cheese. I used Philadelphia, but you can use any spreadable cheese you prefer. Very simple and delicious!
However, I suggest you to prepare the tartines just before serving them, at least one hour ahead. But it’s better to garnish them just before serving, to prevent them from getting soggy.
Now let’s see how to make Smoked Salmon Tartines with Cream Cheese recipe! So let’s get started.

Steps
Smoked Salmon Tartines with Cream Cheese recipe is very easy to make.
First, toast bread slices in a hot oven at 338°F (170°C) for about 10 minutes, until they’re golden brown and crisp.

Do not overdo it, otherwise the bread will be too dry.
With a round or wavy cookie cutter like mine (about 2 inches wide), cut 3 circles out of each slice. You can also use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut each bread slice into 3 hearts.

Then spread the cheese on the first circle, lay the salmon, cover with the second circle topped with cheese and salmon and overlap the third disc without filling.

For each tartine, use 3 disks. Continue in the same way with the others.

Once finished, wash the lemon, dry it and cut it into thin slices that you will cut in half.
Complete the tartines by inserting a toothpick from top to bottom. Garnish each with a slice of salmon rolled up to form a small rose, the lemon slices and a few chives.
Smoked Salmon Canapés with Cream Cheese are ready. Enjoy!

Buon appetito.
– Bread: I toasted the bread in the oven. Alternatively, you can also place it in a toaster oven and toast to your preferred toasting level.
Storage
You can store Smoked Salmon Tartines with Cream Cheese in the refrigerator for 1 day covered with transparent film, although I recommend consuming them as soon as they are ready.
