Potato Toast with Ham and Cheese recipe is easy to prepare.
First, wash the potatoes under lukewarm running water. Put them in a large sauce pan and cover with lightly salty cold water.
Bring to boil and let them cook for about 25 – 30 minutes (when the water begins to boil). If you use a pressure cooker, consider 12 minutes from the moment it starts whistling.
Once cooked, peel them, pass them in a potato masher and place in a bowl to cool.
Add the egg (1), bread crumbs (2), grated Parmesan, season with salt and pepper; mix well with your hands (3).
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts (4), flat each ball to form squares (5). With each ball you should obtain 2 squares, possibly of the same size.
Cover one half with cheese and ham (6) and close with the other half (7).
Now toasts are ready to be cooked. Take the grill pan and insert them until golden brown.
