Ingredients

For 6 baskets

2 slices sandwich long bread
2 tablespoons unsalted butter (1oz – 25g)

Tools

1 Rolling pin
1 Muffins Tin

Steps

The Baskets with Sandwich Bread are really easy to realize.

First pre heat the oven at 350°F (180° C).

Put the bread on a cutting board. Each slice makes 3 baskets.

With the help of a pastry cutter or a cookie cutter, cut out the shells. I used a flower-shaped one to create wavy edges, but you can also make them simply round.

If you don’t have a pastry cutter, use a glass or a cup or even a jar 😉

Roll out the shells with a rolling pin, just to make them thinner and widen the diameter.

Then place them into the muffin cups or in single-portion cups.

Grease the inside with melted butter using a food brush.

Bake in a preheated oven for about 7 – 8 minutes, until they are pale golden brown. Finally, remove from the oven and fill.

Here they are. Baskets with Sandwich Bread are ready.

Enjoy!
