Hazelnut truffles

The hazelnut truffles are very simple to prepare, all the ingredients have to be cooked for two minutes, left to cool, truffles are formed and that’s it. This recipe that I propose today is from my grandmother, a very simple recipe with few ingredients. In addition, these hazelnut truffles are egg-free, dairy-free and naturally gluten-free. Those who don’t like coffee can replace it with the same amount of water, even if it gives a very intense taste.

Ingredients

21/2 cups hazelnut
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup coffee
1 cup cocoa powder
sugar

1 Food processor
1 Pot

Steps

Chop the hazelnuts with a food processor, finely chopped. Mix the sugar with the cocoa and pour into a pan. Add the coffee and cook until the sugar has dissolved. Add the chopped hazelnuts. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. With wet hands, form the truffles. Pass them in the granulated sugar and arrange them in the cups.
