Sliced pumpkin in air fryer. This recipe retains the main flavour of the pumpkin as we season it only lightly with a little salt, pepper and olive oil. You can add more seasonings such as thyme and paprika if you want more flavour. Adding herbs and spices are a great way to give pumpkin more flavour. Don’t overdo it with flavours, you might hide the flavour of the pumpkin.
We have used slices of pumpkin already cut, in which case remove the skin, seeds and filaments from the inside of the pumpkin. wash and dry it perfectly.
My easiest way to serve pumpkin is as a side dish to another meal. It goes perfectly with a delicious roast like roast beef.
You can use almost any variety of pumpkin, I prefer to use butternut squash. it has a wonderful sweet, rich flavour.
You should be able to find this pumpkin in your local supermarket.

Steps Sliced pumpkin in air fryer
In a small bowl, pour the olive oil and stir in the mixed spices, salt and pepper (the choice is yours).
Brush the oil onto the pumpkin slices with a kitchen brush and place them in the basket of the air fryer without baking paper.
Place the basket in the machine and start at 350° F ( 180° c ) for 4 minutes. Obviously times will vary depending on the size and thickness of the pumpkin slices and your air fryer.
Once cooked, a knife should cut the pumpkin easily. If there is some resistance, cook the pumpkin longer.
Plate the pumpkin and serve hot.
Serve the pumpkin as a warm side dish
