Fried sweet potatoes

Fried sweet potatoes. These fries will change your life. They are salty-sweet, crispy and you can add some hot sauce if you wish. French fries are one of my favorite snacks. These pan-fried sweet potatoes are so easy to make and taste amazing! Everyone will love these browned tender sweet potato slices! In some countries, sweet potato fries are popular street foods eaten during the fall and winter seasons.

Ingredients Fried sweet potatoes

2 sweet potatoes
24 cups vegetable oil (500 ml)
salt (salt or chili powder)

Tools

Knives
Pots
Ladles
Blotting Papers
Peelers
Slotted Spoons

Steps Fried sweet potatoes

Peel sweet potato and cut into thin slices. ( 1/2 inch )
Heat oil to 350° F ( 180° C ) in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sweet potato slices to the skillet.
Fry in about 3 times. Do not overcrowd them by putting in too many at a time,
Cook, stirring every 2 minutes, for 10 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are golden brown and cooked through.
Use a skimmer and place the potatoes on a paper towel.
Sprinkle the sweet potato slices with salt or chili powder if desired and toss.

Serve with ketchup or mayonnaise
