Baked onions. These baked onions are very easy to make for a simple and flavorful holiday side dish. Make this recipe to serve with holiday ham, turkey or roast beef.
The result is a tender vegetable, soft on the inside and caramelized on the outside. The flavor is sweet and takes on the flavor of the marinade, creating a memorable side dish on the vacation table.
When choosing onions these you will need to cut them in half and leave the skin on while they cook, so I recommend using a large, sweet variety.
