1 Pastry board

Let’s proceed with the making of our coffee biscuits with chestnuts flour.

I used planetary but you can also make shortcrust pastry hand-made.

In the planetary add the melted butter and the powdered sugar and work them together until you will get a cream.

Now add the restricted coffee and continue to work it.

Now, sift the powders, so the chestnuts flour, soluble coffee and the unsweetened cocoa powder and add all in the planetary and continue to mix it.

As you will continue to work your dough you will see that it will have a compact loaf.

Take your loaf, compact it with hands, wrap it in foil and let it rest for one hour in the fridge.

Now, take small pieces of your dough and create some little balls and make a little cut on the top of it with a knife.

Place the biscuits on a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake at 356° for 15/20 minutes, depending on the oven. If they seem too soft, don’t worry, when they cool they harden

Let our coffee biscuits cool and serve
