Broccoli Sausage ORECHIETTE Easy Italian recipe
Broccoli Sausage ORECHIETTE is a rich and substantial Italian first course. A recipe with which you will be able to make even those who usually don’t appreciate it enjoy this vegetable.
Two ingredients that go perfectly with a type of pasta from Southern Italy, orecchiette, which combine successfully with this seasoning to create a succulent dish.
A quick and easy recipe to prepare for lunch or dinner for the whole family. A balanced dish, due to the presence of both vegetables and proteins and carbohydrates, can easily be considered a single dish.
If you like a spicy touch, you can add chilli pepper, fresh or powdered, to fry with the garlic at the beginning of the preparation.
Then, to make the orecchiette tastier, I recommend cooking them in the same water in which the broccoli was boiled, as for the recipe for orecchiette with turnip greens.
Now all we have to do is see how to prepare orecchiette with broccoli and sausage, an original Italian recipe.

Steps
STEP 1
Clean broccoli, remove tips and divide them into 4 parts. Cook broccoli in boiling water for about 5 minutes. In the meantime, remove sausage skin and mash on a plate with a fork.
STEP 2
Place garlic, 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan, and when hot add sausage. Brown for 2 minutes then add rosemary and thyme (finely chopped). Pour white wine and raise the heat on the stove until the alcohol has evaporated.
STEP 3
In the meantime, drain broccoli from the water and pour into the same pan where you cooked sausage. Mix, remove garlic and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook Orecchiette pasta (following time indicated on the package). When pasta is cooked, pour it into pan with broccoli and sausage, add a spoonful of pasta water, grated parmesan and mix on the stove for 1 minute. Now Sausage and Broccoli Orecchiette Pasta are ready.
