Get ready because this is not an easy recipe but… very easy!

The sausage and bacon skewers are a delicious second course that is certainly appreciated by everyone from the largest to the smallest.

A very easy preparation that is truly irresistible also thanks to the marinating of the meat that will make these skewers very tasty.

Just wrap the sausages, after having flavored them, in slices of bacon, stick them on wooden sticks and you will have ready the skewers to cook in a pan, in the oven or to grill.

They are prepared with few ingredients and for this reason you should choose only the highest quality ingredients.

Aromatic and tasty sausage and tasty and spiced bacon are for you.

If you want you can “skewer” together other ingredients you like: such as potatoes, peppers, courgettes or even cheese.

Accompany the sausage and bacon skewers with grilled vegetables or mixed salad and dinner is ready.

I have prepared a marinade with mustard and tabasco to make them even tastier, but you can also omit or replace with Ketchup.

Pour mustard, honey, and oil into a bowl (if you like spicy, even a few drops of Tabasco).
Finely chop the thyme and rosemary and add them to the mixture.
Leave aside until use

Remove the gut that contains them from the sausages, being careful not to break them.
Then cut into pieces about 3 cm long.
Soak the pieces of sausage in the marinade.
Cover with cling film and leave to rest for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
After the time has elapsed, skewer sausages with skewer sticks.
Place a slice of bacon on a work surface and roll around the sausage.
Continue until you run out of ingredients.

Arrange the sausage and bacon skewers on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, then brush with a little marinade.
At this point you can decide how to cook (in the oven, in a pan, on the grill).

Bake in a preheated static oven at 180 ° for 15 minutes then another 10 minutes in the ventilated mode at 220 °.

In a non-stick pan, melt a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil with a knob of butter. Brown the rolls on each side. Blend with ½ glass of dry white wine.
Raise the heat, let the alcohol evaporate, then cover and finish cooking for another 15 minutes.

Brush the sausage and bacon skewers with the remaining marinade and cook on the hot grill for about ten minutes.
Stir frequently, until the bacon is golden and crunchy and the sausage is completely cooked.

Once ready, the sausage and bacon skewers should be eaten immediately otherwise they risk becoming dry.

You can prepare in advance and leave in the marinade for up to 24 hours. They will flavor well and become even tastier.
