I am an Italian food blogger, wife and mother as well.
I’m always in a hurry and busy life.
I love to cook, take food photography and write recipes.
I started from a deeply rooted passion for food and traditional Italian recipes which over time have been transformed into my Italian blog “A Tavola con Tea” in 2014.
Spending my time with the blog has been a great help in a difficult moment of my life.
I consider myself very lucky because after a few years I managed to turn what I love into a job.
My first approach to cooking was when I was only 18 in London where I was an aupair for an english family … I still remember my mom sending me the Italian recipes by fax!!!
At that time, finding Italian ingredients abroad was not so easy so I worked, tasted, studied until I reproduced the home’s flavors.
With globalization almost every ingredient is now available in every part of the world but that experience has taught me to make do with what I found to bring a bit of Italy even abroad.
Even now I am in contact with my English family and we often exchange recipes. In the same way I have many friends who live in the United States with whom we maintain close relations even if virtually who ask me for advice and Italian recipes.
Then, as always happens, foreign followers have been added to my blog A Tavola con Tea and perhaps this too was the push that led me to create in 2021 a blog in English “CIA Cook Italian Abroad”.
Here you will find a collection of authentic recipes inspired by Italian tradition and seasonality:
